PRESUMABLY, THE METALS WERE SEEN IN THE MORAN FORMATION, BUT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO KNOW. HUDNALL AND PIRTLE (1929) GIVE GEOLOGY ON BASE GRID. THE COLEMAN JUNCTION LIMESTONE OCCURS SEVERAL MILES W. OF SANTA ANNA, AND THE CAMP COLORADO LIMESTONE OCCURS ABOUT A MILE E. OF SANTA ANNA. THE HORSE CREEK LIMESTONE OCCURS ON THE E. SIDE OF SANTA ANNA, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE MORAN FORMATION.
