Deposit TRAVERTINE IS A SUPERFICIAL VENEER ON AQUACATE COMPLEX VOLCANICS. AT THE EASTERN END OF ITS OUTCROP, THE TRAVERTINE IS UP TO 22 M THICK. TRAVERTINE WAS DEPOSITED FROM CARBONATE-SATURATED THERMAL SPRING WATER.
