Deposit THE PRICEITE DEPOSIT IS INTERBEDDED WITH GYPSIFEROUS ROCKS AND OVERLAIN BY 8 TO 17 M OF A BRECCIA FORMATION COMPOSED OF GYPSU, LIMESTONE, VOLCANIC ROCKS, LIGNITE, AND PRICEITE. THE PRICEITE DEPOSIT VARIES FROM 0.2 M TO 6 M THICK. THE BASE OF THE DEPOSIT IF FORMED BY A GYPSIFEROUS SERIES 18 M THICK. THE AVERAGE THICKNESS OF THE MAIN PRICEITE HORIZON IS 1-1.5 M. APPROXIMATELY 20 PERCENT OF THIS IS PRICEITE (46-50% B2O3) AND THE REST IS A MIXTURE OF PRICEITE AND GYPSUM (15-25% B2O3). THIS DEPOSIT MAY BE A BURIED PLAYA DEPOSIT.
Deposit THE AZIZIYE MINE IS NNE OF THE SULTAN CAYIR MINE AND WAS ORIGINALLY SEPARATE, BUT THE WORKINGS ARE CONNECTED BY A CROSSCUT.
