  • THE DEPOSITS ARE FOUND IN A LTERT VOLCANICLASTIC SEQUENCE. THE LOWER PART OF THE SEQUENCE IS COMPOSED OF LIPARITE AND LIPARITE OBSIDIAN. THE UPPER PART OF THE SEQUENCE CONSISTS OF SLIGHTLY MARLY AND THINLY BEDDED LIMESTONES WITH INTERCALATIONS OF BENTONITIC CLAYS, TUFFS, AND AT LEAST ONE BORATE HORIZON.

Deposit THE DEPOSITS CONSIST OF COLEMANIT (MAINLY IN THE EASTERN PART OF THE AREA) AND TERSCHITE (MAINLY IN THE WEST). THE MINERALIZED HORIZON IS APPROXIMATELY 3 M THICK AND IS REMARKABLY FREE OF UNMINERALIZED PARTINGS. THE ORE IS DENSE AND COMPACT. THESE DEPOSITS HAVE THE SAME STRIKE AS THE DEPOSITS OF GUNEVI AND BEGENDIKLER.
