Deposit HORIZONTAL BEDS OF DIATOMTIE, THE LARGEST OF WHICH IS 1.5 M THICK. THE DIATOMITE IS INTERBEDDED WITH CLAY. THE DIATOMITE IS WHITE, SOFT, AND LIGHT. THE SURFICIAL EXTENT OF THE DIATOMITE IS VERY SMALL. DEPOSIT MAY BE MORE EXTENSIVE BELOW THE SURFACE.
