General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit THIS DEPOSIT FORMS PART OF A LATERALLY AND VERICALLY CONSISTENT SEQUENCE OF LACUSTRINE AND PYROCLASTIC SEDIMENTS. ALTHOUGH THE LITHOLOGIES ARE SIMILAR, NO CORRELATION IS RECOGNIZED BETWEEN THE KYOOMA EAST AND KYOOMA WEST STRATIGRAPHIC SEQUENCES. THE KYOOMA EAST DEPOSIT EXHIBITS LESS FAULTING AND CONTORTION THAN THE KYOOMA WEST DEPOSIT. THE KYOOMA EAST DEPOSIT IS CAPPED BY A RELATIVELY THICK BASALT. THE INFERIOR GRADE AND QUALITY OF THIS DEPOSIT AND THE THICKNESS OF THE BASALT CAP MAKE THIS DEPOSIT CURRENTLY UNECONOMIC.
