Deposit A METER THICK GYPSUM BE OCCURS WITH BROWN SALT CLAY AND OTHER LACUSTRINE SEDIMENTS IN A ROAD CUT 500 M S OF OWL HOLE SPRING. THE BEDS STRIKE ENE AND DIP NROTHWARD UNDER FANGLOMERATE. NODULES OF CELESTITE OCCUR IN GYPSUM BEDS JUST EAST OF THE OUTCROP. 150 M NORTH OF THE OUTCROP, THE GYPSUM-SALINE BEDS REAPPEAR, BUT STRIKE NW AND DIP SOUTH.
