Deposit TWO BEDS OF BARITE, 1.5-0.5 M THICK, ARE SEPARATED BY MAINLY DOLOMITE. BANDED APPEARANCE OF BARITE AND BLACK CALCITE FOLLOWS CROSS-BEDDING IN ORIGINAL DOLOMITE SEDIMENTS. DEPOSIT IS 400 X 600 M AND BOUNDED BY 2 FAULTS. BARITE VEINS ARE FOUND IN NEARBY BASEMENT GNEISSES AND MAY BE ROOT ZONE FOR STRATABOUND MINERALIZATION.
