Comments on the reserve resource information

  • R1E EQUALS R1E AS THERE ARE NO LOSSES IN BENEFICIATION
  • R2E EQUALS R2E RESOURCES IN THE AREA SHOULD BE SUFFICIENT FOR ANOTHER 20-30 YEARS OF MINING AT PRESENT PRODUCTION LEVELS

Comments on development

  • NON-GEOLOGIC CONSTRAINTS ON DEVELOPMENT OR EXPANSION IN 1-5 YRS. (CONSIDERABLE TIMBER REQUIREMENTS TO SECURE MINING ADITS;). EXPLORATION(YES); ASSESSMENT(AT PRESENT MARKET CONDITIONS FOR GRAPHITE NO MAJOR EXPANSION PROGRAMME IS BEING PLANNED); MINIMUM C-CONTENT OF ORES BEING MINED IS 40 % FC. ORES ARE HANDSORTED GRADE A (77-85 % FC), GRADE B (70-76 % FC), GRADE C (60-70 % FC), GRADE D (50-60 % FC), GRADE E (40-50 %FC). APART FROM GRAPHITES BEING FLOTATED, THERE IS NO ENRICHMENT IN C DURING BENEFICIATION. GRADES ARE BLENDED TO MEET CUSTOMERS REQUIREMENTS. MAIN PRODUCT IS (NON FLOTATED) GRAPHITE FOR FOUNDRY APPLICATIONS. MINOR QUANTITIES ARE FOR PENCILMAKING, FOR SINTERFEED PREPARATION, FOR CARBONRAISING IN CONVERTERS. A SPECIAL PRODUCT GRADING 88-92 % FC "SPEZIALGRAPHIT-MP" TO SERVE AS MUD-ADDITIVE FOR ROTARY AND TURBODRILL OPERATIONS IN OIL-WELL-DRILLING HAS BEEN DEVELOPED GEOPHYSICS
