MINERAL RESOURCE CATEGORIES AND CODES HEREIN ARE FROM THE INTERNATIONAL CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM RECOMMENDED BY THE UNITED NATIONS GROUP OF EXPERTS ON DEFINITIONS AND TERMINOLOGY FOR MINERAL RESOURCES. (SEE NATIONAL RESOURCES FORUM, V. 4, NO. 3, P. 307-313.). TOTAL SOUTH KOREA RESOURCES OF AMORPHOUS GRAPHITE, SEE FOR PONGMYONG. CUMULATIVE PRODUCTION 1973-1983 OF AMORPHOUS GRAPHITE WAS ABOUT 563000 TONNES. THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN AMORPHOUS GRAPHITE AND COAL (ANTRACITE) AT SOME DEPOSITS OF KNOWN PERM AGE WAS REPORTED TO BE DETERMINED BY THE RELATIVE MARKET PRICES OF THE 2 COMMODITIES
