  • ; ILMN + LCXN + HMTT + MGNT + RUTL (+ PRXN + FLDP); ILMENITE AND LEUCOXENE MINERALIZATION ASSOCIATED WITH OXIDIZED ZONE OF GABBRO INTRUSION WITHIN SCHISTS OF PRECAMBRIAN BRAZILIAN SHIELD. COMPOSED OF 10 INDIVIDUAL SUB-DEPOSITS WHICH OCCUR AS MASSIVE, BANDED ORES IN LENSE-SHAPED HILLS UP TO 100 M WIDE AND 1000 M LONG. ORE CONTAINS AVERAGE 20% TIO2 AND 0.6% V2O5.
  • ; ILMN + ZRCN + LCXN + MNZT (+ QRTZ); DEPOSIT SITUATED 56 AND 65 M ABOVE SEA LEVEL; CONSISTS OF BASAL CONGLOMERATE AND CLAYEY MATERIAL (WEATHERED GRANITE), OVERLAIN BY UP TO 9 M OF DUNE SAND WITH UP TO ABOUT 60% HM. IT IS CAPPED BY A YELLOW, WELL SORTED DUNE SAND (UP TO 15% HM).
