  • BEDS LIE NEARLY HORIZONTAL. ; GEOL.DESC: MINERALIZATION IN BROWN RESIDUAL CLAYS OF SHADY DOLOMITE. CLAY IN PART LAMINATED AND IN PART HAVING BRECCIA STRUCTURE. SOME CLAY IS STREAKED BY WAD & IN SOME AREAS HARD MN NODULES ARE ABUNDANT. IN PLACES CLAY ALTERED AT SURFACE TO RED SOIL AND ON SOME RIDGE TOPS IS CAPPED BY REMINANTS OF TERRACE GRAVEL. NEAR NORTH END OF WORKINGS CLAY FORMS CONTINUOUS BODY BUT TO SOUTH IT FILLS HALLOWS BETWEEN DOLOMITE RIDGES.
