  • SHAFT APPARENTLY SUNK TO INTERCEPT GOLD-BEARING QUARTZ VEIN WHICH IS EXPOSED IN BED OF LOGGING ROAD 100 FT. TO WEST. VEIN PROBABLY PINCHES OUT BETWEEN THE ROAD AND THE SHAFT.

  • BASE OF SHAFT CAVED; HOWEVER, RECENT STRIPPING EXPOSED A PARTLY-CAVED DRIFT 30 FT. EAST OF SHAFT.
