  • MINE INCLUDES OPENINGS ON THE EAST AND WEST SIDES OF CLINCH RIVER. THE UTM COORDINATES FOR THE EASTERN MOST OPENING ARE N 4091500, E 409280, ELEVATION IS 1760 FT (537 M). THE EASTERN CUT BEGINS 10 FT (3 M) ABOVE THE RIVER AND EXTENDS NORTHEASTWARD 9 M (30 FT) THROUGH BEDROCK INTO THE SIDE OF THE HILL. IT IS ABOUT 100 M (328 FT) EAST OF CLINCH RIVER AND ON THE NORTH SIDE OF A TRIBUTARY TO THE CLINCH RIVER. THE WESTERN OPENING IS ABOUT 70 M (230 FT) WEST OF CLINCH RIVER. THE MINE IS WITHIN THE PURCHASE BOUNDARY OF THE JEFFERSON NATIONAL FOREST.
