  • THE TWO ADJOINING CUTS HAVE AVERAGE DEPTH OF 8-10 FEET, AND WITH THE EXCEPTION OF 30 FEET OF UNREMOVED ROCK BETWEEN THEM, EXPOSE THE ORE HORIZON FOR A DISTANCE OF 100 FEET ALONG THE DIP. ORE NOT EXPOSED AT WEST CUT.

  • DEVELOPMENT CONSISTS OF THREE SMALL OPEN CUTS: TWO ADJOINING EACH OTHER ON EAST SLOPE OF HOLLOW AND ONE ON WEST SLOPE.

Deposit SPHALERITE AND RECRYSTALLINE DOLOMITE OCCUR AS DISSEMINATED MASSES AND VEINLETS NEAR THE TOP OF THE DOLOMITE HORIZON. ACCORDING TO SECRIST, POCKETS OF "HIGH-GRADE ORE" OCCUR DISCONTINUOUSLY. A 6-INCH THICK SHALE BED OVERLIES THE DOLOMITE, ABOVE WHICH THE DOLOMITE IS APPARENTLY UNMINERALIZED. ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
