Deposit ROCKS ASSIGNED TO UNIT 1 OF HERNON (1968). LENTICULAR QUARTZ VEINS UP TO 2 INCHES IN THICKNESS OCCUR ALONG STEEPLY-DIPPING FRACTURES IN SHEARED BLACK SLATE. TRACE AMOUNTS OF PYRITE OCCUR IN THE SLATE. GOLD NOT OBSERVED, ALTHOUGH IT IS REPORTED THAT THE ADIT WAS DRIVEN FOR GOLD. ; INFO.SRC : 4 OTHER SRC
