Deposit Discovery Year: 1922 (SPHALERITE)
Deposit ORE IS LIMITED TO THE BRECCIATED HOST ROCK, AND CONSISTS OF ANGULAR FRAGMENTS OF DOLOMITE CEMENTED IN A MATRIX OF SPHALERITE AND DOLOMITE. SPHALERITE ALSO OCCURS AS SMALL FLAKES AND MASSES UNIFORMLY DISTRIBUTED THROUGH THE MATRIX. REPLACEMENT FEATURES SUGGEST THE FOLLOWING PARAGENETIC SEQUENCE: COUNTRY ROCK, DOLOMITE, CHERT, SPHALERITE, PYRITE, DOLOMITE (SECRIST, 1924). ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT
