  • SCATTERED OLIVINE CRYSTALS OCCUR AS LARGE AS 1 1/2 INCHES IN DIAMETER. NEAR THE MIDDLE LARGE CHROMITE OCTAHEDRON ARE CONSPICUOUS. NO SAXONITE OBSERVED SOUTHWEST NOSE CONTAINS A FRINGE OF ABOUT 50 FEET WIDE OF SOAPSTONE AND ANTHOPHYLLITE ASBESTOS. MOST OF THE OLIVINE ON SOUTHERN CONTACT IS SERPENTIZED.
