  • BARITE IS PLATY LIKE THE WILLIAMS TYPE OF DEPOSIT FOR THE MOST PART, BUT SOME CRYSTALLINE ORE IS PRESENT. SOME IS FAIRLY PURE, ALTHOUGH THE BARITE CONTAINS FRAGMENTS OF UNREPLACED ARKOSE. PODS AND VEINLETS OF GLASSY QUARTZ OCCUR IN THE HANGING WALL.
