  • THE 35-FOOT DEEP SHAFT REPORTEDLY INTERCEPTED FAIRLY LARGE QUANTITIES OF TALC. STRINGERS OF TALC UP TO 3 INCHES THICK OCCUR IN WHITE, TREMOLITIC MARBLE FORMERLY EXPOSED IN THE BED OF THE VALLEY RIVER, 400 FEET FROM ITS MOUTH.
