Deposit MAGNETITE IS SCATTERED AROUND THE PIT, SOME CHUNCKS 6 INCHES IN DIAMETER WERE FOUND. MAGNETITE IS A VERY COMMON ACCESSORY MINERAL IN THE ROCKS OF THE MARS HILL QUADRANGLE.
