Comments on the commodity information

  • NEAL AND OTHERS (1973) COLLECTED SAMPLES FROM VARIOUS ROCK TYPES AND CONDUCTED ORE DRESSING STUDIES ON THEM AS PART OF AN EVALUATION OF POTENTIAL FELDSPAR RESOURCES IN NORTH CAROLINA. EACH SAMPLE WAS RATED ON THE BASIS OF PERCENTAGE YIELD OF FELDSPAR CONCENTRATE TIMES THE PERCENT K2O OF THE CONCENTRATE. SAMPLES RATING MORE THAN 280 ARE CONSIDERED AS REPRESENTING POTENTIAL FELDSPAR RESOURCES. THIS SAMPLE, NUMBER 4180, RATED 268.
