  • PROSPECTING WAS CARRIED OUT IN A BLUE-GRAY PORPHYRITIC RHYOLITE CONTAINING FINELY DISSEMINATED BIOTITE AND PYRITE. SILICIFIED MYLONITE SELVAGE CONTAINING MINOR BIOTITE AND SERICITE IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE RHYOLITE. THE MYLONITE IS IRON STAINED IN PLACES. THE RHYOLITE IS BRECCIATED, PARTICULARLY ALONG THE STREAM, AND IN PLACES THE FRACTURES HAVE BEEN HEALED BY QUARTZ.u MINERALIZATION IS ROUGHLY STRATA BOUND IN THE MASSIVE, CENTRAL?, PORTION OFu A THICK RHYOLITE FLOW.

  • THE WORKINGS CONSIST OF A FEW PITS AND TRENCHES ON EACH SIDE OF A SMALL STREAM WITH CONSIDERABLE WORKINGS ALONG THE STREAM. ADDITIONAL LARGE PROSPECT PITS ON RIDGE ABOVE THE SMALL STREAM.
