  • THE WORKINGS WERE OPENED IN A FELSIC CRYSTAL TUFF THAT HAS BEEN SHEARED TO PHYLLITE. THE PHYLLITE CONTAINS STREAKS OF PYRITE AND CHALCOPYRITE AND SCATTERED GRAINS OF GALENA. IT STRIKES N 65 DEG E AND DIPS VERTICALLY. IRON-STAINED MILKY QUARTZ IS SCATTERED AROUND THE DUMPS.

  • A SHAFT 40 FT. BY 25 FT. AT THE COLLAR WAS OPENED AT THE PROSPECT. MANY SMALL PITS WERE DUG ALONG A NORTHEAST-TRENDING RIDGE, AND NUMEROUS SHALLOW TRENCHES WERE CUT PERPENDICULAR TO THE RIDGE.
