| Deposit | GOLD-BEARING GRAVELS LIE UNDER SOIL AND CEMENTED GRAVELS AT DEPTHS OF 1 TO 16 FT. THE PAY GRAVEL WAS 1 TO 6 FT THICK. THE SOURCE OF GOLD IS PROBABLY THE NEARBY MARICOPA AND PHOENIX MINES WHERE GOLD-QUARTZ VEINS OCCUR ALTERED PREC SCHIST. |
