IT IS UNDERLAIN BY WELL BEDDED CHERTS AND SHALES, STRIKING N 60 E, DIP 30 S. THE OTHER PROSPECT IS 500 FT. SOUTHWEST WHERE A TRENCH EXPOSES A 3 FT. BED OF MASSIVE CHERT CUT BY A FEW VEINLETS OF MANGANESE OXIDE.
