  • WORKED IN 1889-1890 IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE WHEELING MINE 1 MILE EAST; RELOCATED BY CONTINI IN 1932 AND WORKED 1935-1939 AND AGAIN IN 1950. PRODUCED ABOUT $16,000 IN GOLD 1935-39, SMALL AMOUNTS IN 1950 AND DURING WINTER OF 1951-52 ABOUT 20 TONS OF ORE SHIPPED. TWO UNPATENTED MINING CLAIMS, THE IXL AND THE THREE HORSEMEN. THE MAIN ADIT IS ON THE IXL CLAIM. THE VEIN IS 6-12 FEET WIDE IN BLOCKY GREENSTONE CUT BY GRANITIC DIKES. THERE IS NO EQUIPMENT ON THE PROPERTY.
