  • DEVELOPED DURING WWI - SOME ORE WAS PILED ON THE DUMPS BUT NONE WAS SHIPPED. FIVE OR TEN TONS ON THE DUMP SHOULD RUN OVER 40 PERCENT MANGANESE. MR. L. W. JONES, FORMER OWNER AND DEVELOPER OF THE PROPERTY, STATES THAT ASSAYS OF SAMPLES TAKEN DURING WWI RAN 48 PERCENT MANGANESE AND 6 PERCENT SILICA.
