  • THE OLDER CHANNEL, CAPPED WITH RHYOLITE, IS LOCALLY STATED TO HAVE YIELDED $7 A CUBIC YARD FOR A WIDTH OF 30 TO 60 FEET. IN THE MAIN TUNNEL SEVERAL HUNDRED CARS OF GRAVEL HAVE BEEN WASHED, WHICH RETURNED A FAIR AVERAGE IN COARSE GOLD
