CHERT IS FREQUENTLY CUT BY VEINLETS OF QUARTZ AND PINKISH LILAC MANGANESE SILICATE (INESITE TYPE). ASSOCIATED ROCKS WITH THE CHERT ARE META-TUFFS AND DENSE GREEN OMPHIBOLITE, THOUGHT TO REPRESENT A UNIT OF METAMORPHOSED CONTEMPORONEOUS FLOWS AND TUFFS.
