  • GEOL.DESC: VERTICAL DEPTH TO THE GRAVEL IS 136'; GRAVEL IS CEMENTED AND CONTAINS A FEW BOULDERS, IS FROM 50-75' WIDE AND 20' DEEP IN THE BOTTOM OF THE CHANNEL'S TROUGH. GOLD IS FOUND IN THE FIRST 3' OF BEDROCK AND THE 3' OF GRAVEL ABOVE BEDROCK; IS FROM PIN-HEAD TO WHEAT-GRAIN IN SIZE, WITH OCCASIONAL $3-$8 NUGGETS. RANGES FROM 818 TO 825 IN FINENESS.
