  • GEOL.DESC: ELEVEN VEINS OF QUARTZ KNOWN ON THE SURFACE; TWO "BLIND VEINS" HAVE BEEN DISCOVERED BENEATH. THESE VEINS ALL OCCUR WITHIN A ZONE 200' WIDE IN ALTERED DIABASE (CHLORITIC AND TALCOSE SCHIST), AND CONTAIN FROM 3-4% AURIFEROUS IRON SULPHURETS. GOOD PROSPECTS OBTAINED ON SEVERAL OF THE VEINS. 110' SHAFT HAS BEEN SUNK. ORE TREATED IN 10-STAMP MILL.
