SMALL LENSES OF PARTLY OXIDIZED QUARTZ-MANGANESE-GARNET ROCK LIE WITHIN THE LARGER LENSES OF METACHERT. NO GOOD OXIDE ORE DEVELOPED. PROSPECT HAS NO ECONOMIC VALUE AS A PRESENT SOURCE OF MANGANESE.
