Economic information

Comments on the geologic information

  • GEOL.DESC: AN OUTCROP OF THIN-BEDDED TO CONTORTED AND CRUMPLED MASSIVE METACHERT. THE MORE MASSIVE LENSES ARE STAINED WITH MANGANESE OXIDE AND HERE AND THERE ARE LENSES OF LOW-GRADE MATERIAL; GARNET CRYSTALS, BUT LITTLE OXIDIZED, FOUND AT THE SURFACE. TOO LOW IN GRADE TO BE OF ANY ECONOMIC IMPORTANCE.
