  • 20 LONG TONS OF ORE MINED IN 1943, ASSAYED 45.9 PERCENT CR2O3 WITH A CHROMIUM IRON RATIO OF 2.77. IN 1944 A BULLDOZER CUT UNCOVERED A STRINGER OF CHROMITE UP TO 4 INCHES THICK FROZEN IN A DUNITE WALL. ABOUT 12 TONS OF SORTED ORE SHIPPED, IN OCTOBER, 1951.
