  • WORKED INTERMITTENTLY FROM 1882-83 TO 1929. IDLE DURING MOST OF PERIOD 1929-1955. IN 1892 AN ORE SHOOT 8-9 IN WIDE STRUCK IN THE VEIN AT DEPTH OF 15 FT. WHICH RAN $62.00 PER TON IN GOLD AND $1.67 IN SILVER. ASSAYS MADE IN 1927-28 VARIED FROM $6.40 TO $32.96 PER TON.
