  • GEOL.DESC: VEIN MATTER IS IN PART MASSIVE MILKY QUARTZ AND IN PART A RIBBON-STRUCTURE OF LAMINATED WHITE & GLASSY QUARTZ INCLUDING THIN SHEETS OF SLATE WALL-ROCK. IT FOLLOWS CONTACT BETWEEN SLALY AND SCHISTOSE METASEDIMENTS AND HORNBLENDE GRANODIORITE WHICH IS CUT BY SEVERAL GRANITIC PORPHYRY DIKES. THE LARGEST DIKE PARALLELS STRIKE OF VEIN.
