  • A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF CARBONATE ORE SHIPPED FROM THIS MINE IS SAID TO HAVE HAD A VALUE OF $12.50 GOLD PER TON AND 10 PER CENT OF COPPER. IN 1908 THE MINING COMPANY WAS DRIVING A DEEP TUNNEL TO OBTAIN 500 FT. OF DEPTH UNDER THE BEST OF ITS CLAIMS.
