Comments on the production information

  • ABOUT 10 LONG TONS OF CHROMITE WAS MINED DURING WWI ON THIS PROPERTY. IT WAS REPORTED A MR. WOIL SOLD 10 LONG TONS OF ORE CONTAINING 56.68 PERCENT CR2O3 IN 1917 FROM A DEPOSIT IN THIS VICINITY AND IT IS LIKELY IT CAME FROM THIS SITE. A LITTLE PROSPECTING WAS DONE ON THE PROPERTY IN 1940 BUT VERY LITTLE CHROMITE WAS FOUND.
