A BADLY FAULTED AND FOLDED SILICEOUS MANGANESE OXIDE ORE BED IS EXPOSED, STRIKING ABOUT N 20 W, AND DIPPING 55 N. E. ORE IS COMPLEX CARBONATE NEOTOCITE MATERIAL, ONLY SLIGHTLY OXIDIZED. ORE SHOWS EVIDENCE OF HYDROTHERMAL ALTERATION, AND IS CUT BY THIN RHODOCHROSITE VEINS. SOME PYRITE AND CHRYSOCOLLA OR MALACHITE ARE PRESENT.
