  • GEOL.DESC: OUTCROP OF MANGANESE CHERT 20 FT. WIDE, AND 30 FT. LONG, STRIKES N 40 W AND DIPS 15 S. W. CHERTY SHALE AND GREENSTONE ARE EXPOSED TO THE N. E. AND N. W. SERPENTINE EXPOSED IN A GULLY TO S. E. ORE IS PARTIALLY OXIDIZED BEMENTITE AND NEOTOCITE (?). BEMENTITE IS PARTLY COARSELY CRYSTALLINE, IN TABULAR CRYSTALS UP TO 1/2 INCH IN DIAMETER, WITH THIN BLACK OXIDE COATING.
