OLDEST, MOST IMPORTANT ORE-BEARING FORMATION IS AN INTERBEDDED SERIES OF RHYOLITE FLOWS, INCLUDING BRECCIAS, MASSIVE TUFFS, PORPHYRITIC FLOWS, BANDED FLOWS AND WATER-LAID DEPOSITS OF SEVERAL KINDS OF VOLCANIC DEBRIS, INCLUDING WELL-LAMINATED SILTS.
