WITHIN ZONE ARE NUMEROUS PARALLEL AND AN ECHELON, NEARLY VERTICAL SUBZONES OF INTENSE SHEARING, A FEW TENS OF FEET THICK, WHERE SCHIST & LIMESTONE HAVE BEEN BRECCIATED. MAIN VEIN WHICH IS PARALLEL TO FRACTURES, CROSSES NEARLY VERTICAL FRACTURES AT ANGLES VARYING BETWEEN 20 AND 45 DEGREES. PARALLEL VEINS VARY IN THICKNESS FROM "THIN SEAMS" TO 2 FT. |
