| Deposit | BADLY FOLDED AND FRACTURED PHYLLITE AND SLATE CUT BY N40W SHEAR ZONE WHICH PROVIDED A CONDUIT FOR CU-BEARING SOLUTIONS EXPOSED IN A 50 X 150 FT OPEN PIT. SLICKENSIDES ARE COMMON LEAVING A THICK, SHINY VENEER OF FAULT GOUGE ON MANY OF THE SEDIMENTS. NUMEROUS SPRINGS ALONG PARALLEL FAULTS. |
