  • VEIN IS TRACEABLE FOR 750 FEET, AND IS THE RESULT OF A REPLACEMENT OF CRUSHED LIMESTONE WITHIN WELL DEFINED WALLS. THE VEIN RANGES FROM 6 TO 15 INCHES THICK, CARRIES SOME GALENA AND ANGLESITE, WITH CHIEFLY MASSIVE CERUSITE. VEIN IS COLORED GREEN DUE TO LITTLE CU. VEIN IS OFFSET 15 FEET WHERE BEING MINED. THE 250 FOOT SHAFT DOES NOT REACH THE VEIN.
