  • THE SHEAR ZONES ARE FILLED WITH QUARTZ AND BRECCIA VEINS. SOME OF THE VEINS HAVE FINE-GRAINED PYRITE,OTHERS HAVE MINOR COPPER SHOWS. ALL OF THE VEINS CONTAIN IRON-OXIDES.

  • OLD WORKINGS HAVE BEEN DOZED TO EXTINCTION LEAVING LARGE OPEN-CUT AND PITS ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF MT. GRANT. SOME OLDER WORKINGS REMAIN TO THE EAST AND FURTHER DOWN THE MOUNTAIN. THE OLDER WORKINGS WERE DRIVEN ON SHEAR ZONES.
