Comments on the commodity information

  • THE COPPER/LODE VEIN OCCURS AT A CONTACT BETWEEN LIMESTONE AND GARNETITE. THE OUTCROP IS A LIMONITE GOSSAN UP TO 80 FEET WIDE AND OVER 600 FEET LONG ON THE SURFACE. METAMORPHIC ROCKS ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE VEIN HAVE BEEN INTRUDED BY QUARTZ MONZONITE; MARBLE FORMS THE FOOTWALL VEIN. TO THE NORTH OF THE COPPER LODE, GYPSUM CROPS OUT IN AN EXPOSED BELT ABOUT 500 FT. WIDE AND 1,500 FEET LONG.
