Economic information

Comments on the geologic information

  • SERIES OF PITS AND ADITS ARE ON QUARTZ VEINS CONCENTRATED ALONG THE CONTACT BETWEEN A DIORITE AND LIMESTONE. WEAK EPIDOTE-PYROXENE SKARN OCCURS LOCALLY. THE DIORITE IS FINE-TO MEDIUM GRAINED, AND PERVASIVELY CHLORITIZED AND PYRITIZED (GONE TO FE-OXIDE). QUARTZ VEIN MATERIAL CONSISTS OF VUGGY C.G. TERMINATED QUARTZ (COMB QUARTZ) AND LARGE AMOUNTS OF GREEN CHLORITE AND LIMONITIC FE-OXIDE. THE DIORITE-LIMESTONE CONTACT EXPOSED IN SHAFTS APPEARS SHEARED. QUARTZ VEINS ALMOST EXCLUSIVELY OCCUR IN THE DIORITE AND NOT IN THE LIMESTONE.
