Deposit LOCALLY, HOST ROCKS ARE HIGHLY SILICIFIED RHYOLITE TUFFS. SHAFT WAS SUNK WITH A HAND WINDLASS ON A NARROW ALTERED ZONE OF SILICA AND VEIN MATERIAL WITH VISIBLE MINERALIZATION CONSISTING OF MINOR COPPER, IRON AND MN OXIDES.
