  • OCCURRENCE OF PLATINUM OR PLATINUM GROUP METALS IN ASSAYS OF ORE FROM THE TAMPA MINE HAS BEEN REPORTED BUT IS UNVERIFIED. LINDGREN AND OTHERS, P. 132, REPORTED THAT COPPER ORE FROM THE TAMPA MINE WAS TESTED FOR PLATINUM BY LEDOUX AND CO., OF NEW YORK, BUT NONE WAS FOUND.
